Calendar Overview
The OSALT Event Calendar is intended to be a resource for individuals and organizations looking of events associated with food, agriculture, land protection, and research and education focused on these.
The Event Calendar is a searchable database (list) of events sponsored by a multitude of people and organizations, submitted by those people and organizations.
As with all OSALT activities and programs, it is driven from the bottom up. That is, OSALT does not gather and select events for the list, but invites everyone to enter events directly into the database. OSALT does review submitted events for completeness of entry and screens entries for events we think may be of interest to visitors to our web site, but otherwise does not select events.
We encourage all and sundry to submit events to the Calendar - submit event. There is no charge for including an event in the event database, although donations to OSALT are always appreciated.
Events may be classes, workshops, volunteer opportunities, workdays, presentations, meetings, shows, conferences, etc. that focus on some aspect of OSALT's work:
Agriculture
Food Security
Building community
Sustainability
Intergenerational transfer of land and wisdom
Land protection
Research
Education
As you can imagine, in keeping this calendar as open as possible, we cannot be responsible for the accuracy or truthfulness of entries. If you have information about entries you think we should know, please contact us.
